About Fredagscafe: Meet our Danish Community in the Pacific Northwest

Fredagscafe is a chance to socialize with our Danish community each month. The event is a melting pot of ages and nationalities. Socialize in Danish or English with others who have an interest in Denmark and Danish culture! Fredagscafe is a fantastic opportunity for anyone learning Danish who would like to practice in an informal setting.

All levels, all ages, and all nationalities are welcome.

Pour Decisions

Pour Decisions opened on November 1st, 2021 in the location formerly home to The Dane.

The venture is a joint collaboration between Everett-based Crucible Brewing and Soundbite Cider. We maintain 31 craft taps; most are occupied by beer and cider from Crucible and Soundbite, featuring monthly tap takeovers of locals guest beers and ciders. There is also a growing list of wines on tap, including additions from Patterson Cellars to provide draft wine options.

Crucible co-owners Dick Mergens and Shawn Dowling and Soundbite owner Robert Fontaine have a history of working together already as they share a parking lot in Everett, and have some joint assets already—including a trusty forklift. One of Crucible’s current employees, Andrea Friesner, joined the two businesses in the new venture.

Now Family Friendly! And we welcome dogs in our outdoor area too! Serving EVERYONE in the neighborhood two legged and four legged alike!

What Fredagscafe attendees are saying:

“Interesting group of people. It was fun!”

“Great to meet everyone! Good company!”
