Leave a Legacy with NWDA
What is Legacy Giving?
Legacy, or Planned, Giving is creating a plan to include a charity or nonprofit in your Will or other estate planning documents. A bequest to Northwest Danish Association can help us sustain programs and create new ones for years to come.
A Legacy Gift is just a promise right now. It is a promise to leave a set amount or percentage of your assets to Northwest Danish Association after your death. You may already have other charities or nonprofits remembered in your Will, but if not, it is an addition you can discuss with your attorney. Charitable giving in your Will can have positive tax implications for your estate and your heirs.
Every gift – be they one-time, annual, or legacy, is crucial to Northwest Danish Association continuing our work in the Danish-American community. Read about the NWDA programs that started with legacy gifts.
If you have any questions about leaving a Legacy Gift to NWDA, please call the office at 206-523-3263 or send us an e-mail.
