Donations are encouraged to cover costs of the event. Anything raised beyond costs will be donated to St. John United Lutheran Church and their programs.

Portland Lillejuleaften

We are hoping to grow our Scandinavian community by celebrating our traditions and heritage together, and what better way to do it than with dancing and gløgg at Christmastime? The Lucia Court will begin the chain of people dancing around the tree, the Nordic Choir will sing, as well as more music prepared by our trio of musicians. We will also have a Risalamonde eating contest, with a prize for finding the hidden almond, as well as a short Christmas story reading and a time for individuals to share some of their Scandinavian Christmas traditions.
